Thumbs up 2005 ACT Indoor State Titles

Hi Guys,

It's on again, the 2005 ACT Indoor State Titles are being held on July 16th and 17th.

For a full run down on the rules go to http://www.actmcrc.org.au/2005_Titles.htm.

We learnt a fair bit from the 2004 Titles and have made a few changes to make the meeting even more enjoyable.

For a full set of rules check the website, but heres the changes:

Meeting Format, 4 heats on Saturday, 1 Heat on Sunday. 3 Leg's to the A finals and 2 Leg's to the minor finals on Sunday.

Entry Fee - $30 for one car, $50 for two cars, $70 for three cars. For each additional car add $20.

We will take entries upto and on the Day, however, we will not delay the start of the meeting to take entries, if you do not pre-enter you risk missing your first round.

Just a bit dissappointing that this year will be a 2 day event (Qualifying on Saturday and Finals on Sunday). Any reason why last years format was changed? Looks like my F1 TQ defense won't be on this year.

It would be OK if 2 heats of qualifying be run on Sunday instead of 1.

Would other brushless motors (Hacker or Kontronics) not in the approved listing be allowed to run in mod?

At least 4 Victorians will be coming up for the "unofficial" F1 Nationals. I will also be running in Modified but that's all I know of so far.

Sick, F1 should be good we have a number of F1s in the club now and if they all run in it should be a big class.

We dont own the facility. any damage done to the carpet by traction compound would have to be paid for by the club. that is why traction compund is banned for All classes.

they successfully ran 1/12th last year without it any way. foam tyres have plenty of grip on our surface.

Try the following link i dont think it list all accomidation but it has a few to choose from.

http://www.wotif.com.au/Search.jsp?r...ry=1&region=12

you can filter the list by selecting from the list box under Showing properties in: the closes areas in order closest to furthest

Inner North
Civic (City Center)
Belconnen
Inner South
Woden
Queenbeyan
Tuggeranong

having never stayed in any hotel in canberra i cannot reccomend any but i hope this helps.
