Default Ta03

Hey I just bought a heavily modified Ta03 with just about every hop up and a carbon fiber chassis 4 $50!!! I'd like to know your opinion on the Ta03 and what you think of it since I am pretty new to rc.

If the Carbon Fiber Chassis is in VERY good condition, I will supply you with a new Tub chassis and $50.00

It must be the REAR Engine mount (not Front)

PM me if your interested

Cheers,

A reasonably good buy for a first car, when i started rc i bought a car before any research. If you get a high performance car when you start rc youll find that you may not have to spend so much money in the long run by buying other cars to keep with competition. Also if you buy a high performance car when you begin you can learn how to set up your car for suited conditions and also what set ups are generally best for the way your car may handle. i learnt this the hard way!!

TA03 is solid like a brick... also weighs like one too.

Fantastic Tamiya design, especially with innovative TA03F.
No other car has a motor in front & still handles well.
Nothing else out there that is so flexible... I've got my favourites,
including one fully hopped, another with twin motor etc etc.
And there's a few interesting variants too (eg F-SWB, R-SWB etc)

TA03 suspension is pretty much dialled from the factory. Even if
you put on adjustable arms, you'll find the best setup
ain't far from what the factory has used for the fixed arms.

But it'll be hard pressed competing in any serious competition
today, its just too heavy. From memory there wasn't much
hope of getting a TA03 under 1600g without serious surgery.

They are great basher cars due to their rugged strength, but
these days their spareparts are getting quite scarce in Oz.
