Cantona,

Seeing that the 4 minute Truck rule is still in place, what does ORRCA vic (or otherwise) have to do to change it? Will a show of hands at the drivers brief be sufficient?
It just seems this rule has'nt kept up with battery technology.....But saying that people may want to bring back 6 minute stock!!!!
Not like me to over analyse though.

yeah good point, and with 3600 and 3700 batteries being matched and sold now, 5 min truck is the go, in some and most cases truck can be faster than 2wd, so why not run for 5 mins, we have the battery power and the motors should last!

The ROAR Competition Rules (5.1.4) say 1/10 Electric is 5 minutes.
Does this include Truck?

The losi race just held over in teh US at Minnreg RC club had truck at 5 mins, so one would assume all major event truck races are 5 mins

Default tRUCK

Well its a natural progression and coming back in after a race with 2min left in the pack just seems a bit silly .Lets fall in with the rest of the World

Track is being worked on, sat morning to get it done for the vics.

If you have time and would like to lend a hand, the working bee starts at around 11am, until when ever.

Cheers

hello, just addressing some issues.

The only 3600mah cells approved for this race are the sanyo 3600, any other cell used must be 3300mah or under.

in seniors, both 19 turn and G20 motors will be allowed to be run. Many people still have G20 motors, but you cannot buy them anymore, thus why 19t spec motors will be allowed.

With the control tires, you may trim the foam, and the tire beads so they will fit on the wheels properly. This is required with losi tires on proline wheels to ensure a good fit. No restriction on additive or warmers.
