Guys, teh rules have been clarified, they will be run to current vortec rules.

Which means Rubber tyres for all classes, The only exception is that Modified will run Open motors.

These clarifications should ensure a great weekends racing, and hopefully fillining spur on event more entries!..

Talking Auto Salon GT

This is the only class that will be open tyres. i.e. Foam and rubber.

As this class is not under VORTEC rules, this will accomadate the the foam tyre junkies.

Motor: 23 turn

Tyres: Rubber or Foam

Body: Sports car (2 door) think Play station GT3

Thanks to ATLAS Motors for sponsoring this class

Cheers,

Matt

God damn it was hard to keep concentration between photo shoots with the cabin ladies, and the bikini finalists parades...

It was a blast to see 8 georgeous bikini clad laydays driving some cars around the track...great photo's were taken, I have never seen so many cameras flashing!

I WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.

get ready to drool!...

the track construction and layout was awesome!..looked great with the astroturf inlays...top notch!

the atmosphere pumped...lack of sleep, and being located next to the db drags caused some nausea and headaches....

Default Keep your eyes on the Track:

Firstly I would like to thank all the drivers who raced at Melbourne's Autosalon, which without could not have been the success that it was. As I have been to both I can truly say that the crowds were fantastic - two sides of the track were covered all the time and sometimes three deep. The guys put on a show the public loved and were a credit to their driving skill. To all the Sydney drivers who couldn't come down, you missed a great event, great driving, great track AND THE WOMEN. For the guys that did come, Walter and his crew and Mick Leach and the boys, I hope you enjoyed the show we put on. Thanks go to Templestowe club who helped with the track (thanks Gavin, Chris and Tim) and special thanks goes the the Leach Family who helped by transporting the computer, pulling down the track, helping with running the event and numerous trips on trams for supplies. For all those drivers that pulled out at the last minute - well, maybe next year HEY

All in all, looking forward to Brisbane and the final in Sydney - see you all there!
