ive just purchased a RS4 3 without an engine....so whats a cheapish .12engine with flywheel, clutch and clutch bell assembely....woulc it be cheaper in lng run to save a buy a 2 speed instead ?

i don't think you can run any clutch on any motor some cars require the sg shaft others (like the rs4 3) require a pilot shaft type thingy. check hpiracing.com for more info. there isn't many racers here with that car i am guessing so you might get a quicker answer emailing hpi in the usa directly, or, and this might be easier, calling the distributer directly.

the hpi distributer in oz is frontline hobbies up in newcastle. they have a shop open to the public (huge one) so they should know the answer.

if they don't....well.........
