Default Yes I will

But I wont need any R & D . I just cant be bothered any more. A combination of many factors just snapped inside me last night, and I feel good about it today.

I am just going to spend more time with the kids and no time at Goodwood.

Thinking about selling it all and just having a gas monster truck to have some fun with here and at the shack.

I like the look of those Revo's , what is your opion of those ?

Default Reasons

It's gone far above being a social meeting now, it's ultra competetive now, you need to be on the ball if you are going to do any good. I am not saying it is a bad thing, I will even take some of the blame for it , but I just dont feel up to it right now.

Organisation: Where I have worked for nearly 20 years now, we opperate with a sense of urgency, everything must be done as quick as possible. I control everything and how fast it happens. Truthfuly , my whole life runs like that, with a sense of urgency, I struggle to operate with people who dont have it. I just cant leave things to the last minute, I cant hope things will be OK on the day, I like to have things under control ASAP.

People who know me , will know how with a little help, when an idea sprang up eg. the "Fun Day" I had it on paper and posted to members the next day, I need to have things under control quick as possible. If things are left , I stress big time , when I stress, I lose interest very fast. Lately I have been stressing alot.

This week it has got to the point where I was just going to leave my cars at home and look after the PC and entries etc. I sat back and thought , and excuse my use of nasty words here but "Fuck Me, what kind of idiot am I, I am in this hobby to race my cars and I thinking of leaving them at home: GIVE IT UP !"

So I am - for how long who knows. But I wont have to stress for a while

So ok Depends on how u want to treat it Has it now grown beyond the hobby stage for u?? Do u know feel u have to compete and be on top?? Y not just give up the position in the committee and just go out there and enjoy it without running the pc or entries or having all the other hassles.

It is only howu want to make it Not what u have to do to be competitive??

It's a hobby, but I dont do anything to come last ! You get a bit older , you cant play the competetive sports as hard as you once did, you need an outlet.

I dont want to win, but I need to throw everything I can at to try and win. I cant find everything right now.

I want to have fun, but I want to go fast while i'm having it.

Also , I have neglected my kids a little ( a lot) , I dont spend near the time with them as I did BC. (Before Cars) It has devoured my life. I read the web , I mess with my cars , I set em' up, pull em' down, test em' , race em' etc. etc. I need to reclaim my life, if only for my boys. Sure, when they are older we can do it together, I love to the the sons racing with their dads, enjoying it together. I look forward to a time when I can enjoy that also.
