HI all

WE are thinking of getting a saturday night class of racing going at Windsor.

There will be BBQ if desired.

There will be a multitude of prizes (the prizes being glory and prestige) The entry fee will be the track hire.

There will be as many qualifier rounds as we can fit in and we will have some sort of final.

Serious drivers need not apply as this is a fun race. There will be NO sheep stations up for grabs either ;-)

We were thinking of a control class - Fireball 15Tx2 engine (as they are like $30) and battery packs preferably the cheapies ($40-50)
Whos up for it?

will be good to see manual counting done for this race as i'm sure for the $10 track hire fee will not incklude someone running a race meet

Isn't the $10 only for 4 hours practice. Not going to get much racin done in that time.

Why do we need Meca when we now have the club challenge? Club challenge has been a great replacement and a better run series.

I think you may have missed the point.

We will make races with whoever and whatever they have.

It is not serious racing, but just a bit of fun with times. We will put whoever with whoever and whoever wins will get the prestige for that 5 minutes until the winner of the next race takes over. After a few qualifying rounds, we might have some finals just because we can.

The batteries are free, we just have been using cheapies because we are just having a heap of fun.

And if you dont think you will get much racing done . . . If you assume five minute heats, and a five minute break in between, thats 24 races at least.

24 races? only if you get the numbers im sure it will take about 30 mins at least to charge a pack so each driver will only get 8 runs. not having a go just stating the obvious. im sure if there are large numbers then it will run later but otherwise i'm sure steve has better things to do on a saturday night after 9pm.

Your right dangles, just making the point that we can have as much or as little racing as we like.

I know that despite what we think, Steve still has a life ;-)
