Love the cigar and the fine detail with the dirt. Truely amazing.

I have to get off my backside and finish mine. I have too busy with F1 and getting a VTA built.

That's cool Scorp! Great detailing.

Hey Andrew, when are you going to run your FAV mate?
Get it finished and run it at the Vintage meet at St.Ives on 10-11th December! Rubes is even making an effort to turn up, will be good to see you there! Bring your Stadium Blitzer as well.

I am running an enduro that weekend at SMA (Saturday afternoon). Might be asking too much to run two days

Love the detail Scorp! Can't wait to see more pics.

Shocks! - I see Tamiya has bought out a FAV Oil Shock kit: http://www.rcmart.com/rc-others-tami...r-p-34591.html

By the look of the front shock mounts, it looks like they are more Wild One design. Wonder if they're worth buying and I wonder whether they could be mounted vertically. 2 mins later looking at oher pics - no, because the shocks are regular side mount, not top mount like the friction shocks on the FAV.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/84258-TAMIYA...93264732727946

Are they allowed as a hop up in the Vintage racing class?

They look good, can't see why they wouldn't be allowed in NSW Vintage racing as these shocks are similar to Wild One shocks.

Thanks doorz/Baggz,

I reckon all the accessories will soon overtake the cost of the FAV

Not sure what I'm into most - RC, or scale, or both? Pulled the Jack and the Fire Extinuisher off the Scale Crawler, which I've built a trailer for my Rally car which will probably never get used. Oh well, there our toys that we have fun with.

I got mine from http://www.banzaihobby.com/ in Japan.

Postage was a bit pricey but Japan to Aust in 3 days! When I bought mine, no one seemed to have any in stock, so my choice was limited.
