Yea it happens all the time. It's just a fault of them. Don't worry too much, it still chargers.

While we are talking about this charger, do you need a separate power supply for these, or do they hook up to mains power? I'm looking into buying one and am just doing a costing. Any help would be greatful.

MrRolla 11-04-2004 02:15 AM

Yes you will need a power supply for it unless you fork out the extra cash and get the ac/dc version...

Rod M 11-04-2004 02:44 AM

you are better off getting the standalone unit and a separate 12V PSU as you may want to use the PSU to power other items as well (second charger, tyre warmers, etc)

Carbon_Fibre3 11-04-2004 02:48 AM

was there a need to post this in both the on road electric forum and the australian racing one?

TRAJ 11-05-2004 12:59 AM

whats wrong with that??

pink pac man 11-05-2004 01:05 AM

is there a problem with the powerd cdc or is it just that you want a seperate psu to use on other stuff

cos you see i already have a seperate psu so should i get the powerd or non powerd

and he posted in two threads cos he probibly wants more answers just to make sure he can fix it
