For those that haven't been to CHR as yet, the videos show the new layout of the track. It would be a good opportunity over the next couple of weeks to get some practice in for the XRS round, which will be held on the 4th & 5th of March.
The 4th of march will be a practice day, and the 5th will be the race day.

Wow. That's the word I can use to describe the racing last night, both in racing, and the number of people entered.
It was great to see some old faces, and new faces from another club, big thanks goes to Tony Smith and friends for supporting our venue, we'll definitely try to return the support that you guys give us.
The big question on everyone's lips, "How did the Mini night go?" It was huge! The race reports found below will tell the story.
10th March 2017 Race Results

I'll try and get the videos up as quick as I can, I have a backlog of them atm (my fault), so you guys can watch them, and hopefully enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.
As stated, we will not be racing again until the 31st of this month due to the showground being booked out. During this time it'd be a good opportunity to support the venue's that support us, so we can keep building on the inter club relationships that the XRS series has started.

Racing resumes back at Castle Hill Raceway this coming Friday night the 31st of March 2017.

Hoping to see everyone back at racing again for a fun night out with friends. Also, Mini night has been re scheduled to the 7th April, due to no racing on the Friday 14th April.

hi, I am interested to practice/race at your venue,
I have a fwd car with a 13.5T motor. Can I race in the 13.5T class.

Hi,

Yes, it would be fine for you to race in the 13.5T class. We race nearly every Friday night, except for a few weeks when the venue is being used by other organisations. There is no racing next week on the 14th April, but we will be racing on the 21st April.

The track is usually setup, and ready for practice between 5.00-5.30pm, and racing commences at 7.30pm.

If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask and we'll do our best to respond with an answer in an timely matter.

With the cooler temp's last night, does anyone think "it was hot just a few weeks ago"? Welcome to Australia, scorching heat one day, chilly cold the next.

If last night was a preview, then it's soon going to be time to dig out the "tracky dak's", "ugh boots", and "beanies for the winter weather.
Did the above deter the enthusiasm of those that turned up on the night? Not one little bit at all! Especially with the Mini drivers, I often think that I'll need several camera's to catch the action when the mini guys race.

Big thanks to Rob Nicol & Andrew Nutter for running race control on the night, which they both done a great job of, also thanks to all that help out on the night, and thanks especially to those that turn up to race & support the club.
