Depends on the body i guess. the idea of VTA in the USA was that it was period racing cars from the Tran's AM series in the 60's and 70's. Hence the US Muscle cars.

In Australia the rules generally have been a bit more relaxed as well you want to have GHTO's Torana's etc.

What bodies are you talking about?

VTA bodies should be as per original rules, imo. I think it is a real attraction to the class instead of the array of tourer bodies we now have with the focus purely on aero efficiency. Also, I think, one area the 21.5 class should have stayed true to, instead of now allowing tourer bodies. Was great seeing a field of exotic supercars racing!

I loed the gt style bodies of the 21.5 boosted. It was a good look

Anyone who knows me would knows that i love muscle cars and whether aussie or american. When sma ran the vta enduro last year we ran a torana xu1 body. There were gtho's, stangs, camaro's, etc it looked great.

Personally i like the idea of aussie muscle agsinst american vta's

Bring em down and get it going!!!

I agree, the HPI tyres are a little hard to come by. But I think stay away from a full race slick, run something with less grip, give the cars some attitude on the track.

PS. Is it usual race meet this friday? Will be in Sydney this week..
