Carpet Track

Hi fellow racers
I am interested in starting are carpet onroad rc track in western Sydney . I will be using ozite carpet as used in the America
At this point in time im just trying to get a idea of the numbers that would be interested in regular weekly races to see if it would be worth my efforts

All ideas welcome

+1 if it is not on a week night.

I'm interested. Even more so if you could get to the track by train (I'm in Sydney half the week for work).

I've been itching to race on carpet again since Laser Force closed.

Carpet would be good to run again, less scratches on the body shell :p

Holy crapola Dan, how long ago has that been? That was an interesting job for me, one weeknight run the racing, on the weekend work at the laser tag downstairs. :D

Cheers
Rob.

off road style right with jumps and burms?? i'll come from rooty hill for that!

You want basketball court sized or more preferably. Typically in Europe we use 3 rolls of carpet, which covers the width ok.

Too long is the only answer worth giving.

I bet you wish they had transponders then Rob! I remember some of the lap times we were doing were sub-8 seconds. Though we were limited to 6 car races...

It was devastating when that closed. I don't think my Corally F1 has turned a lap since. It's still in mothballs at my parent's place. I wish we'd got 12th going there. Stock 12th would have been a winner I reckon.

His first post ever?

Glenn, we have had this brought up before and it was just a joke. It would be best to identify yourself properly to guarantee that you are serious
