yeah i just ordered from tower about 7 days ago and got it today. this is my second order from the tower ppl abd the first one took around 3 months.

MrRolla the reason why people buy from the usa is because some times hk shops don't have what your looking for. well that why i order from their. but don't forget Speed Tech ship fron the usa and it gets hear within the same amount of time a hk order does.

if it was shipped on the 4th of August there is no way that it has been sent by air-mail...did you select air-mail; if you didn't then you made a mistake and all you can do is wait!

If you pay for air mail, you get it in 7-10 days. If not, tough luck, you'll be waiting for 3 months.

I've also been waiting weeks for an order from Tower. I placed it on 7/8/2004. It arrived today, so there may have been a problem with surface mail during this period. I normally order wish list stuff surface mail and required stuff via air mail. I was forced to reorder some of the plastic bits from my surface mail order via air mail to keep the car going. But that's fine, I wouldn't be able to get any of them here in Oz anyway.

There are quite a few HK shops, depending on what you needs are dictates which shop you use. Here's a few in no particular order.

Its a bit weird.
It took 3 months for my pro 4 to arrive as well, during the same period.

If you go to the USPS site, it says it should take 4-6 weeks as well. Maybee it is a back log at customs in australia holding it up.

I think tower is ripping us off for shipping as well... For a 13 pound package sent surface they quote a price $20 cheaper than tower....

For air mail it is $30 cheaper.

I imagine tower also get some kind of price reduction because they are a high volume business.

Hello guys,
I have ordered some stuff from the US and most arrives in oz in 4-7 days. Although 2 items: radio & charger took nearly 4 weeks. I think customs are holding them up instead of the actual shipping.
