Talking Stickers

To put a sticker on ,spray the body (where you are putting it), and then spray the back of the body with soapy water in a spray bottle.

This way you can move it in to position.

Then roll your finger from the in side out, to get rid of the air bubbles and wrinkles (and no this wont work on old peoples faces)

Have a practice go on a coke bottle, and see how you go.

Good luck.

You can also fade colours into each other. that can end up with a cool effect.

eg. A red can fade into a yellow.

To apply this effect, spray the shell but slowly reduce how much you spray as you move further into the shell.
Next, get another colour and spray from the opposite end into the shell. Because you haven't ended suddenly with the first colour, the paint will "Blend" together.

Note: This works best if the paints are still slightly wet and you have two colours that contrast and work together. It also works well with Flames.

Hope ya get a cool effect!

Or, if you've not got the patience or skills to do a good paintjob like me, do as I do - publicly acknowledge the fact that your art/creativity skills suck more than Monica Lewinsky, and either

a) live with a 1-colour shell, or
b) see your local track's best artist and shell out $50ish for a paint job from him/her.

Either works.

a good effect for people spraying with cans is ripping up some masking tape (3m blue type or thick white type...only use 3m) and spraying over it. then placing a colour as the rip. looks good.

i'm gonna do a body like this soon i'll post it.

you also get a cool effect on your car body if you give it to wombat

hahaha that happened to me for last years TCS. i was painting a shell the first colour went on well the when i tryed to put the second layer on it blead through the masking. And i got pissed and i wasn't thinking and ripped off the window masks and then started spraying the white under coat. and whoops i forgot about the windows.

one thing that i have to say to anyone wanting to spray more than 1 or 2 colours. TAKE YOUR TIME!!! (trust me it helps)

MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR SHELL , invest in some XXX Main paint masks , take your time, start with dark colours first, try drawing a pic of your shell and design your colour layouts prior to paionting you shell , Use the correct paints
when you feel you know what you are dioing go onto your own paint mask designs
Good Luck

The biggest tip would be to "know what end-result you want".

Design and how you plan out the painting steps is important. Usually dark colours go on first, lighter colours next. (Even write down your colour sequence like a recipe if you have to.)

Depending on what you've designed, you can either get away with no masking... or go totally crazy on the mask job.

Here's examples of both extremes:-
