How did you find the track fun and interesting?

Hi BrainTeased,
To run Stock you will need a 27turn motor with 24degree fixed timing.
For Mod I believe you can run brushless but not get points and as far as why there is no points for Modified, it's simply because there is only one club member that has been running mod, all the other mod drivers that turn up are from other clubs.

No there is only me running Mod and a member fo the club.
The 24degree is prety standard for stock motors now, but apparently in years past there have been other varieties with different timing.
Stock motors are designed so you can adjust timing without some effort. Mod motors you can adjust timing to your hearts content.
Well we really need 3 or 4 members running to have a proper class in mod. People have been talking about allowing brushless and may happen next year, maybe even a controlled brushless class where you have to run a particular brand of motor and speed controller just to make everything even for everyone.

im confused there lol!
and about the idea of a brushless class where everyone runs the same brand motor and ESC ... that would mean you guys must choose the best brushless brand or the most realiable one novak has that problem of the pinion shaft coming off or something? im very new to electric so have no idea.
but thanks for the input tonite Tony
