Talking

I had a VR-01 ,it was a good car.

After setting it up it drove alot like my TC3FT, but for bashing around its alot more forgiving than the TC3.

The standard diffs (geared) aren't very strong ,and break teeth off easy.

If this happens replace the diffs with the ball ones, costly but will last a long time.

Best of all parts are dirt cheap for this car!

For a good drift car, use 80wt all round in the shocks, and kits tyres.

If you can't find parts, try the Albury hobby centre, they have a fair bit in stock, and full car RTR's as well.

Good luck

I won one of those last year... looks good for a basher cause it comes with a "reostat" type mechanical speedy. If u want one cheap i have it still in box untouched... for bout $150

it has a commodore body, chassis, battery, charger, tyres and radio (stick).
