I know a lot of RC racers are from a motocross racing background or even just dirt biking in the bush, but unfortunately one of the top national MX riders Andrew McFarlane from QLD lost his life after an accident at a race/practice crash in the Australian nationals in VIC today.

Being a racer for many years and hearing this news of one of the top racers loosing his life, at something he loved doing, is very sad news. For him to hint, earlier in the year, that it might be his final year and retiring at the end of this year makes this news even sadder.

RIP you will be missed by many, our thoughts are with his wife Natalie and his young daughter.
