Default CHASSIS UPDATE TIME....BUT WHICH ONE ??

Per the thread title. Wanting to update my current chassis T2R Pro.

After people's opinions on some of the offerings out there.....
I want to use it for 17.5 , club racing, asphalt / concrete only.
Price is not that large an issue really.
Don't care if I need to order O.S and I like to be different.

So, what do you guys think of :

T.O.P PHOTON

YOKOMO BD5

CYCLONE TC

TIGERMOTH LCG laydown version

TB03R

Other suggestions? I don't really care if anyone else at my track runs different brands to me.

Cheers ,
Michael.

I don't race but Ive driven a few cyclones and they rock. From what been told by mates that race is they are easy to tune for your liking too.

T.O.P PHOTON - Local part support, Won nationals and summer nats thanks to team driver Daimo

YOKOMO BD5 - Doing well indoor in Europe, won LRP masters and indoor European title. However sorry Ant and Ryan think it is more a Indoor car also there is a new version coming out.

CYCLONE TC - Ment to be good, Won a lot of things round the world.. However there is a new version coming out in June so would wait.. I am going to test drive one of these babies in June.

Sakura - It Is Pink, END of Bradd is loving his however as it a prototype parts hard to come accross but very good value for money when released.

T3 - Bang on the money, lots of support mate at Windsor and Ant is even happy to give you his setup
he won Bendigo with it.. so good resource to have at the end of a PM.

Personally have 2 x T3 now, next week testing the stock spec setup for the club, feel free to have a test..

Or just wait until June and buy one of my T3's when I sell them for the new Cyclone

Dont know you dude but if Ryan can only drive his mod car around bendigo for 5 minutes at a 0.17 cons, it must not be a very good car for asphalt hey

I would probably buy a BD5 variant if i had my money again. Very happy with the T3 though and they are as tough as nails with lots of set up help. I don't mind being one of the sheep

Do the Yokomo cars bounce like Xray ?
I've had Xrays for a couple of years and want a different brand this time.

How durable are the Cyclones ? I can pick one up in Sydney for about $430...
Do they need extras ?

I found the cyclone to be pretty durable. much better quality plastics compared to tamiya. I would honestly go back to HB if i could be f^#@ed ordering parts from overseas. Parts support much better for Xray and Top.

There is no question the car is good.

Will have to say with no effence here.

U could give Ryan a mini and he would still manage a 0.17 it comes down to the driver.

People just adapt to the choice of weapon and right now yokomo is work well for sir Ryan

all these cars are good there is no question. Some will just be better for your driving style or some just work at your local track.

I tried a mi4lp me and the car fellout. Saying that turns out in the hands of the right people it is a weapon.

Talk to Peter Ellis before getting a Yokomo.
The T3, and I know you said you wanted to change brands is a really good car, consider it. I will even let you drive mine with the 7.5, I might turn the EPA down but it rotates off throttle rather that snap like my '09.
The Sakura is also very good and you will have the big orange fella to help you. Having a chat to him will usually make you smarter.
