Speed controls for Spec Classes.

From a business perspective ,IE- making money,I find it strange that Tekin don't charge you at least something for the software updates.....
For example, say $20 U.S . Much cheaper than a new esc, whereas LRP make the $ for a new speedy, but probably lose lots of customers this way.
Sony do a similar thing with their PS3 store, sell you a game, then offer extras and add-ons ,as they are produced at a much cheaper price.
Free updates may make you lots of friends, but not neccessarily keep you in business.

It actually has picked up more business for Tekin as racers change t get the free upgrades. Aparently Tekin sales have increased dramatically so it is a smart move

I just tested the new RS 203 software out today with 17/5 and got it sorted,
It is a lot quicker than what Scotties car was the previous meeting, I'm talking 10.5 speeds and I also had to drop the brakes back from 100% to 90% as they were too strong and locking the wheels up at the end of the straight.
Mark, Anthony and Lou were there and were amazed at the speed from a 17.5

Give Mr Fisher a call, they will sort you out with a Tekin set up

Win over the masses as such.
My question, is how much more can Tekin get from the RS series, before it needs upgrading ?
I would consider buying a Tekin, but wouldn't want a Team Wave scenario....

You should always always always buy the speed control that matches your chassis. An ugly car is a slow car

With all this talk about speed controllers it's going to make the the SMA Stock Shootout very interesting indeed
Will all the drivers using the tekin system wipe their ass with the rest or the field?
Or will the other drivers catch up???
This will be a good indication of what's quick and what you have wasted your money on!!!
So I invite all racers to the SMA Stock Shoot out on the 13th of March
weather you normaly run a quicker class or slower class the SMA Stock Shootout will be one event you don't want to miss.
So if you think your fast Bring It!!!
