Sony do a similar thing with their PS3 store, sell you a game, then offer extras and add-ons ,as they are produced at a much cheaper price.

Free updates may make you lots of friends, but not neccessarily keep you in business.

It actually has picked up more business for Tekin as racers change t get the free upgrades. Aparently Tekin sales have increased dramatically so it is a smart move

Mark, Anthony and Lou were there and were amazed at the speed from a 17.5
The same thing was said at summernats, a few of the 17.5's looked like 10.5's on the track. I plan on doing more testing with this over the weekend trying out new motors as well, see if i can get it to go that little bit faster

Give Mr Fisher a call, they will sort you out with a Tekin set up

Greg, I assumed that this was their plan. More of a long term gain ?
Win over the masses as such.
My question, is how much more can Tekin get from the RS series, before it needs upgrading ?
I would consider buying a Tekin, but wouldn't want a Team Wave scenario....

I say let technology take us and allow it to evolve...if one doesn't like the evolving class then move on to another, Simple. It's racing.

Fleety I don't think that will happen for awhile as the tekin team
are already researching the next update and what the tekin
user want to see in the rs

I.e profile settings and downloadable team driver profiles

tekin support is king

You should always always always buy the speed control that matches your chassis. An ugly car is a slow car

With all this talk about speed controllers it's going to make the the SMA Stock Shootout very interesting indeed

Will all the drivers using the tekin system wipe their ass with the rest or the field?

Or will the other drivers catch up???

This will be a good indication of what's quick and what you have wasted your money on!!!

So I invite all racers to the SMA Stock Shoot out on the 13th of March
weather you normaly run a quicker class or slower class the SMA Stock Shootout will be one event you don't want to miss.

So if you think your fast Bring It!!!

I'm good with my spx, after I lap you try not to crash into me as you are overshooting those cornes

The new speedpassion GT 2.1 looks good! 2nd fastest in ETS practice (pro stock) at the moment behind an SXX stock spec
