Default Castle Hill Off Road Club

Hi all off roaders in Sydney.
Thought that we should start off our own thread for the club here

The annual Castle Hill Pro-Am will be run on the 28th of March 04

This is the first round of the Off Road Challenge series

All drivers should be at the track by 9am so we can kick the meeting off early, food will be available at the track, though i will have to check on what time they will be setting up.

Entry forms are available at
http://users.bigpond.net.au/raceway/

Pete, Trev mentioned that we might go 4 heats and triple A final. Do you think that can be fitted in at Castle Hill or will there be too many entries?

I will have a better idea of entries when it gets closer to the meeting, I am not expecting a massive turn out for this meeting, though I might be in for a surprise. If we can get 4 heats and 3 finals in we will do it, but I wont know till almost on the week end.

Any chance of posting the web site again,
Ahh the headache I have been suffering from at the moment BLOODY ISP's

I will be signing up with a new ISP this week and hope to have the site back on line soon. I have purchased a domaine name so just keep an eye out on www.chrcorcc.com in the comming weeks.
I will let as many people know when all is back to normal on here or at the club meetings.

Is that the same magic you worked with the front end of your XXX4 Yesterday.
Should be a good site if you help out then.

Yeah we have both. The electric class has some really good competion with some top drivers. The nitro class is starting to kick off. We get about 5 or so but there is a few new guys starting at the next club meeting. It's a growing class.

You should come down and have a run. The track is really coming on and is in top shape.

Maybe we can get some pics posted ( Peter ) hint hint.

I think it might be a little far for you to travel.

How long does it take to get to Castle Hill from the Bahamas:

I don't think they will run it at club meeting's.

Only my thinking. But FASTOLDFART would be the man to ask.

But at club meeting's they have a 13 or 14 turn limit. Can't remember which. To keep the cost down.

Seems to work they do get a good turn out.

I don't think truck has a motor limit...some of the guys were running 8T a few weeks ago. 2wd and 4wd have a 14T and 13T limit respectively...

Wink trucks

Hi grahame,
Your stock truck racing may be economical in smaller racing circles but if you want to see it brought into tour, state and nats events the moderate cost of racing goes out the window as boiling stocks over geared and 1.18 packs become the standard when trying to get the edge. Your better off running a mild mod with throtle control, plus trucks are meant to be big ,boofy and on their rear wheels down the straight, stock truck just kills a trucks natural crowd appeal
