man until they make the mars radio with a bigger screen there won't be a radio on the market that can beat it for features and ergonomic design.

the mars "feels right" when you hold it.

that gold thing looks dodgy. the jr, if it comes with the stuff pictured seems like a good newbie radio. looks like a well weighted design also.

both don't really have a different design in it...

Is the JR meant to replace the XR3?
no wonder RMS are trying to get rid of their JR's, no doubt to make way for the new one (looks like XR6 or XR8 in the pic?)

The JR is better looking than my XR3
I quite liked the cobra, just ashame it's not in FM....
The EX-5 was on my list, but apparently RMS advertised it @ the wrong price when I placed my order ($268 incl servo's and all!)

I've got an XR2(nice little radio) right now but when I come home in a few years I'll have to upgrade since you can't use 75mhz at home. Ko radios and esc's are sweet. I really like the mars.

Not sure about 40(does 40 have more channels?) over 27 but "am" radios tend to glitch more then "FM" radios and "FM" is consider'd a cleaner frequency. Also 27mhz channels are more spaced out then 75mhz, anybody know how spaced out 40mhz are?
