Nothing. I race an two evader's Nitro and Electric. Which came straight out of the box and onto the track.
My advice to all novices is to back off before the corners. I know that when you crash your mates think it's funny but smooth lines win races.
For a little extra horsepower you can loosen your exhaust manifold from the head. This really makes the standard DTX 18 hammer.
I run mine like this and regually win races.
Try this and see how you go.
