Bit of both.

But there's definitely nothing stopping *you* from contacting
our Oz distributors directly and telling them about their pricing.

Just look up our local rags Racing Lines and Dirt & Track.
They've both got the big ads from all the distributors complete
with phone & fax contact details... what else would you use
those for??

That's $47 per pack! - no way can any LHS compare with that.
And thats why we get most expensive stuff from overseas. Maybe some ppl can get a good deal locally but for us average joes OS is they way to go. I used to buy TOP OF THE LINE GP3300's for $48US. If you really want a good deal, use an OS matcher a few times and then watch him drop the price for you.

And to top it all off - John said he'd throw in free shipping - even though it said on the website that that only applied to US Continental orders.

Mind you - it was cheap shipping - I expect as they were sent via USPS Flate Rate Envelope that it'll take more than a couple of weeks to arrive, but I'm in no rush.

With the margin's that LHS's and local distributors add - there's no incentive to buy locally - and until I don't see that changing as all the parts come from the US anyway usually.
And I can tell you for a fact that he has made exactly $0 dollars on that sale, ESPICALLY if they he didn't charge freight... the only reason its been done is to try and attract PAYING customers

Yes, don't forget this stuff too or u will be stuffed......

Shoo goo can be replaced by super glue. i use it and none of my batteries (ones that have been super glued) have ever fallen apart.
Dont forget 12 gauge wire if you want to make saddle packs.

hA oh no my deans jig broke now it needs elastic bands to hold together....lol
