Default Kwinana RC WA - on-road

We had our first race today, we designed and setup the track. We had four cars turn up but basically we were there to construct the track. We will be running every Sunday from now on for a two month trial period, and hopefully this will increase our membership. We still need tack material so if you have something you can donate that might be usefull that would be a great help. So come on down and enjoy what we hope will be one of the best tracks in WA.

Cheers, Craig

I drove past just as you were finishing packing up. Hopefully I'll get down for a race day in 4 weeks time, when I get some time freed up again...

the map is on the website
http://www.kwinanarc.com/ wont take you long to get there, we had one guy from kingsley it took him 30 mins
Yes there is power and a cover pits area and toilets
The driverstand is a limestone staircase.
The testing today indicated good levels of grip, which will only improve with more traffic
Everybody reported "Excellent" tire wear
laps times where 15 secs for super stock and 18 for stock,
gearing will be similar(or +) to ryper

It took me 40 minutes from Kingsley, both there and home again. So not too far.

If there was enough numbers yes,

At the moment we are willing to run any on road class we can get, its all about getting the club up and running. The track design was great and everyone had a lot of fun. We still need to improve the track but we have a start. As numbers increase we can only get better. We still have a lot of stuff to get. Our wish list at the moment

1)more members
2)track upgrades
3)better rostrum - something portable like radio rally
4)sponsors
5)transponder system - thanks to Dave from rypers for the lone of his and the computer system he gave us today with speakers and software.
