Default TamTech help/experience

Just wondering what others have in this range and any tips on which is better.

I really like the Mini Fox or the Hotshot.

Who has one and what are they like?
What hop ups are needed.
Anyone in the Brisbane Area run these and if so where?

I am only looking at one to bash about.

Yeah was looking at the Fox and Hotshot in the Tamtech but then have 1/10th scale gear and batteries so am leaning towards a 1/10th off roader.

Preferably a buggy over a truck. I haven't seen the Fox re-released but the Hotshot would be the first in line then maybe the Frog.

It would be the Hotshot or a Evader buggy. I would think the Tamiya brand would be better ????

Dunno, hard call.

I'll never buy another Duratrax, as they are not. But the Hotshot is old tech and frail by today's standards of a good buggy (and parts won't be around for ever as it's a re'release special run).

Consider a DF-03 from Tamiya for a basher, or even the Slash. They're bombproof.

Ok thanks for the tips.

Tamiya are great cars and so was looking at one of those. Would love a re-release.

I want the re-re Boomerang because these were the hot ticket in 4WD when I started, but I wouldn't "bash" it... Vintage days at Ryde, no problems

The Slash is definitely a no remorse bash machine...
