what does a rallycross shell look like............Pity rally cars didn't go around knox,I think they still need a flat surface to run on.

Rallycross was a real class at offroad tracks back in the day.... enclosed saloon shells, rally cars, apparently a great sight. No flat surface, they went over the jumps like any other offroad car....

Sorry, just trying to drum up some business

Well, unfortunately, Ray Munday can't make it to the event, and he was genuinely regretful that work got in the way, but I know exactly how he feels. The upshot (sorry Ray) is that I can now drive a ridiculous hardtail, that will take me back to how things were when I was in year 8 bashing around the gravel carpark at school with my mates, having our cars confiscated by ignorant teachers..........

I'll be driving with the Kaptin, known to many for his on road exploits, and about to find out just how frustrating an eighties hard tail really is to steer around a track. All that's left to decide now is whether to run a hornet based "monster beetle", a bison F10 or a jet hopper, or which combination of the three.

Jet hopper might be fun. Just need a big pack of duracell's

Thumbs up

we ain't racing for sheep stations, are we now...

what say we all, ahh, "non-serious*" runners are allowed to ignore the rulebook
on # of cars each team can have/run and use whatever remote-controlled means
of getting that transponder around the track as many times as possible

* definition on non-serious =
-anyone who's not Incredibly Serious
-anyone running a pre-1991 Tamiya
-anyone running 1200SC nicads
-anyone carrying useless ballast on their cars eg photographical recording equipment

Just letting everyone know that due to the very strong field led by the 2007 vintage enduro winners - namely myself and Gino - Team Brat consisting of George and Davin, have dropped out of the race.

This leaves another position open for all would-be contenders.

Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death...

Only one spare buddy? Remember, it's double the time this year..... I suggest you bring 12 spare motors.... with connectors this time
