i dont think i understand,
so now at the end of the year i cant run my TG in my MTX4 in the Gas Tourer class, so i either have to buy a new engine or run the TG in the Pro Tourer class or is there going to be 3 classes, beginners; eg. RTR: BV-1s, V-oneRs, GPX4 and NTC3s TG class; where u can run any chassis with a TG engine in it Pro Tourer: the open engines. if it is the first one wouldnt it make people not wont to race as they may have just bought a TG to be competitive and know it is basically useless if these 2 are wrong can any1 explain to me what is going to happen with out all the boring info, just what is happening, what class with the TG be run in and what is going on with Gas Tourer. Thanks Guys Mitchell:confused::confused::confused: |
Club Rules - SEQ interclub rules will not change.
This is not ment to be RTR class but a class that any chassis can be used but with a fixed cheap motor. Take that RTR motor out, slip in a TG and you are away or remove the Pro Tourer Power plant add TG any one can run. I'm told most GT guys are using the TG anyway. Do'nt forget the rules are draft only minor alterations are underway. and should be available from the ORRCA QLD site soon. Location and Timing of event Soon |
THANK YOU, the is exactly what i wonted to know. its good to hear that there are no big changes.

Since when is a World Championship winning chassis such as the V One R classed as an RTR like the BV1 chassis?????
It may not be as modern as the current crop of chassis on the market today, but it has the record that proves it has won at the World competition level. |
Excuse my noobness but what are TG engines? I dont suppose i could run a Kyosho GXR18 which is a kit pull start engine in the Pull star class in my FW06 can i?

Renault, you might want to read the AARCMAC rules. If you want to compete in the Pullstart class of a state or national title you cant use the OS TG motor as it isnt a pullstart motor. I think QLD are the only state running the OS TG motor in the Interclub and club meets at the moment....I could be wrong.
4.2 All cars must be commercially available and sold as 1/10 200mm pull start chassis kits 4.3 Any 2.11cc (0.12 Cu In) commercially available after-market pull start engine (i.e. sold specifically as a pull start engine, examples - RB, OS & Nova Rossi), or up to 3.0 cc (0.18 Cu In) KIT/RTR pull start engines. Cheers Adrian |
The OS engines TG is available in a pull start version and this version would be allowed to be used in the Aarcmcc pull start class

So according to the above post and the rules, i cant run the GXR18...

or up to 3.0 cc (0.18 Cu In) KIT/RTR pull start engines. If the engine come in the car when new, it can be up to and including a .18 engine, also an engine from another RTR car can be used as long as it's a .18or under. Only after market engines have to be .12's, plus all engines need to be pull start or rota start. |
