Working Bee (Saturday 11th)
Hi All MRCCR Club members,
We are having a working bee this Saturday 11th. I have been informed that the
track needs cleaning due to lack of use over the break. We plan to wash the surface
with pressure cleaners. If you have a strong unit, can you please bring it to the
working bee. We also need to trim some plants around the track (e.g. walkway to
toilets. Any garden trimmers and Whipper Snippers will also be handy for these kind of jobs.
Our next club day will be on Sunday the 12th so a clean surface will benefit all.
We will also organise another working bee the week before the Victorian Titles for general
tidying up of our facility. Your support for our clubs working Bee will be greatly appreciated
regardless of the time you can commit on the Saturday.
See you there.

Hi MRCCR Members and Racers,
ATTN: IC On-Road Racers
Just wanted to drop in and let you know about the upcoming Winter Champs on 29 June. I know it's a long trip to Penrith, but PDNR members and racers have been long time supporters of your major events, so I thought I'd mention this event on the off chance that some of you may be able to attend.
If you haven't raced at PDNR there have been lots of improvements and changes such as new track rubbers for ripple strips, a new larger track layout, and RCM for race control.
Hope you can make it, and look forward to seeing you all out at one of our events one day! Feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
Cheers,
Tony

MRCCR AGM (Sunday 17th July)
Just a reminder to all MRCCR club members that our AGM is this coming Sunday.
To be held during our 45minute lunch break, if the track is wet in the morning, we will be able to conduct the AGM then.
I encourage all financial club members to be present.
A reminder that your membership is due. Payments must be received on the day, we will also have the membership forms.
Every member must fill in the new membership forms, with your most up to date information.
Car Parking Space Rules
Car parking space inside the track compound has been purchased by various club members. There are two spaces left
and you can see Nick Salib on the day if you would like to purchase one of these spots.
Please be aware that members in our clubs have paid a substantial amount of money for these spots, which helps raise
much needed funds to keep our great track and facilities running. Only paid up members can be parked inside the track
compounds during club, state and national events.
Other members can drive up to the loading area and unload their vehicles. Please unload your equipment and park your
cars outside the track at one of the two car parks supplied by the council. Only when this is done, members can then
proceed to setup their pit area for the day. Do not leave your car blocking other members access to the drop-off area.
Regards,
Tim

Hi guys just a quick note for all our 1/5th scale members, the 2015 1/5 scale state titles are just around the corner, so go to the event page and get those entries in.
It's been a long time coming that a 1/5th scale state titles have been held at Lilydale and from the past events that have be run here it's been a lot of fun with some great interstate drives coming across, so if you want to race against the best this will be the one to do.
Also next Sunday will be the last chance to get a setup so come on down and get those cars on the track.

Okay boys and grils just one week away till the 2015 large scale state titles at our track. If any onroad nitro guys or any club members not racing and have some spare time can you please come on down and help out around the track. It maybe large scale but this is for the MRCCR club and members, we all get the benefits from club days racing to major events so all help would be great.

2015 AARCMCC IC Queensland Championships - QRCCRA
Being held at the all new and improved England Park Raceway!
It's late, but it's coming, as will more track picture updates as more gets finished, but start building/rebuilding your cars, and start planning, cause it's happening.
To date on this project, it's been conservatively estimated this has been a $400,000 project and track/site redevelopment, of course the catch being no RC clubs make that sort of money, so the alternative reality was it took near every friend, favor, and what became a long amount of time with absurd amounts of man hours, to build what will likely become one of the best RC model race tracks in the world.
Records will be set, history will be made, fuel will be burnt, tyres will spin, engines will scream (and likely someone will scream at a marshal or two), but it will be epic.
The more who can let us know you are coming, the better we can setup and gear up for the event.
Right now the events is on The Facebook...
https://www.facebook.com/events/544425095710645/
And on the clubs website...
http://www.qrccra.org.au/events/qld-aarcmcc-ic-champs/
To come likely tomorrow, will be the online entries, and I'll add that link it when I have it.

Kerry Novak
