Default RC in Perth

Hello,
I'm from Singapore. My job will be requiring my visits and stay in Perth. To keep RC going, I hope get some input from all as to the available tracks and hobby shops in Perth.

Currently, I'm running MRX3 and MTX3. Info on what's the most popular group of cars, tracks and respective support will be very helpful. Thanks.

I'm sorry but that is just garbage Monster Blazer mate. I don't think someone that has only just started asking about where there are RC tracks himself is qualified to comment on this.

a) Rockingham is on OFF-road track
b) MRX-3 and MTX-3 are Nitro ON-road cars as far as I am aware
c) Perth has a World class facility for Nitro On-road at Moojebing Reserve in Ashfield. www.warcmcc.org
d) There are also plenty of hobbyshops in Perth, the best for Nitro On-road is probably Perth RC on Newcastle St, Northbridge www.perthrc.com.au
e) There are also plenty of other clubs and hobbyshops around Perth for other classes of racing.
f) there are probably several thousand towns the size of Mandurah on the face of this planet that do not have Hobbyshops, especially when they are only 45 minutes from a city the size of Perth, like Mandurah is.

I'm sure the Nitro guys will look forward to having you as there guest Romeo156.

MonsterBlazer - There is a large meeting at Rockingham this weekend (as long as it doesn't rain) come and have a look and we'll fill you in on the racing scene in WA. I'll be in a white Lancer, come and say gday and have a chat. Just please don't pass comment on something you obviously don't know a hell of a lot about until you check it out a little more thoroughly.

sorry if you think I was going off at you by trying to set the record straight, that's just the way I speak, no BS, don't stress about it too much, I'll admit reading my post back it does sound a little agro at the end, that wasn't intended, It's just that we don't need people sabotaging all the Promo work that is undertaken by hardworking club members. I'm sure you can see it from our point of view that this is not being self-righteous. Also, don't worry about offending me, I am not offended easily.

I was also genuine about the offer to come and have a look at rockingham this weekend, we'd love to have you get involved in racing of some form if you're interested. Believe me, there is no discrimination...we even have a class for monster Trucks (electric)if you want to have a go.

Hello Monster Blazer,

I'm glad Singapore left you a fine after taste to respond to me. Thanks.

Hi sleek the elite,
Great input! Thanks. Tis what I was looking for a start. But I certainly don't hope to invoke any argument. PEACE and have FUN! Life's short.

Guys,
When you're here, drop me a email in advance and I can also show you the RC scene. My friends here will certainly welcome our Australian guests!

this is a very old post from 2003 and allot of things have changed since then, your first comment doesnt make any sense as there are 2 active 1/8th off road tracks in the metro area.. one grass and the other clay.
