BAD NEWS
Due to the rain continuing until lunch time today, it would not be possible to start work on the track until at least Thursday. Therefore we have come to the decision to postpone the Winter Cup until August 9 & 10.

GOOD NEWS
This Sunday, Round 1 of the new season will be run instead. We need a good turnout to the working bee on Saturday to finish laying agg pipe, cleaning up etc. There'll also be a few of us there after work on thursday & friday if you'd like to give a hand also.
Laura
Hi Laura,

That date clashes with the Vic State titles................

There would be at least 8 of us you could not make it as we are committed to the Vics already (booked airfares)

Cheers

Mark

Sorry Mark, its the only weekend left on such a busy calendar. Our only other option was to run next fortnight - same weekend as the Novarossi Cup, the weekend of Aug 9/10 or 2 weeks after that which is the BDR 2 day nitro event. We cant run the weekends in between as thats when the onroad guys run.

Hi everyone. I'll apologise in advance for the following announcement-

2008 OFF ROAD WINTER CUP
has now been changed (yes again) to the 23rd and 24th of August. After talking with a number of club members who are either going to the Vic Titles, one of which is our race director, or are away the weekend of Aug 9/10 this is our only chance to run the event prior to the Nationals.

race day on the new track.
Looking forward to the winter cup. should be a good one.

Please note that the TRACK IS NOW CLOSED UNTIL THE WINTER CUP.
Anybody who has nominated online please make sure all details are filled in, including your personal transponder number if you've got one.

Don't forget to get your entries in for this weekends Winter Cup. There is a strong possibility that this will be the last race meet before the National Truggy/Monster Truck Titles so this would be the ideal time to get your setups dialled in.
