I'mjust wondering, what is the most high performing Touring car you can get? Is it HPI? AE? Tamiya 414 MII ? XRay? Express? Schumacher ? Team Losi? Something that is under the $1000 dollar mark. Just want to know from you guys

Who cares if it's race legal, this thing is fast.
Nice to drive and handles very well if you only use half throttle.

Not for the faint hearted and not to be taken lightly, once it is in third gear you better have plenty of empty space to let it run.

That's nitro, if you want a quick electric, just get any of the cars you have listed and bolt a 6T hacker brushless in there and off you go.

yeah man, the good thing about on road tourers is theres a bunch of them at the top that all seem very close on pace and the only difference comes down to driver, setup and the car actually suiting the driver, Xray, losi, tc3, venom, corally, schumacher and tamiya are all on the pace and probably more than i have mentioned, what it will come down to is budget, though they arent too different in price and ur driving style and ability to get spares, and if u know people running the same car, that way, its a lot easier to get a staring point for setups too.

Of course, if u race what most, or a lot of people do, then u cant have a car advantage over them, only perhaps a setup and/or driver advantage, thats why i drive a schumacher cat 3000 in off road, cos most other racers are driving the losi's, so what am i saying, i prefer to go the underdog if i can, cya

Thanks for that guys. I'm just wondering. I'm not quite sure on what to get. I would like to progress from the good old TA03F to something, with more Jazz. Not that the TA03 doesn't have any But yes. TA04 TRF looks nice OH yes and electrics...Maybe around 4 to 6 hundred? You guys know any? What about the xray or something. Are they good?

I can personally recommend the X-ray evo 2.
Brilliant car to build, every thing fits as its suppose to.
The car is fast straight out of the box, with very few options really required to get it to the front of the field.

i would always look where you race as a good guide... despite nofx's idea is easy to find a flock of sheep and hence the parts for your car if you snap it!

Every car has bugs, I'm sure corally will have it sorted soon.

In fact the Fusion R12 (the race legal version) is an absolute sensation as well. Comes with the drive train built just leaving the suspension etc to do. Two race meets so far - one tarmac (foams) and one concrete (rubbers) and two third places even though driven by and old coot. Sensational - the only thing bigger is my grin.

OK Thats easy too - Schumacher Mission, the price is right in comaprison to the other good cars and more importantly the spare parts back up is the best - in Brisbane anyway.

It was only a matter of time before someone pulled the string pull cord that comes out of Heavy's chest again.

I reckon that If I hear it three times in a row, magic forces will make me want to buy one too.

Jason, Team Ippy wouldn't be the same unless you both stay with the same manufacturer.
