HACKER BL tips....

ok, i'm a drongo. the motor DOES work... it's a little "tricky" to start though.....
what does the 4 levels of timming do?
and what does the switching frequency do?
what are 2/4/8/6 pole motors?
how do these settings effect the "handling" of the motor at different tracks. which settings are best suited to which tracks?
i'm interested in knowing for the following tracks,
-eastern creek,
-northside (for upcomming Venom challenge)
-mingara
currently running 75T 48 pitch spur gear and 22 pinion on a 6T(very very quick!!!
a little like my JP modified in the mtx3!)
i also have a 19T pinion. are there any other "common pinions"

here are MY hacker preferences for 6T motor and sport ESC=
Timing profile: 1 (5deg)
Don’t screw around with this to much. Using the higher profiles will give you more speed but also really heat up the speedie. I think the hacker 6T is a 2pole motor, so don’t use any more timing then 5deg.
Drive freq profile: 2 (16khz)
I know most of the other guys run 32khz to reduce the lag, but I find 16khz or 8khz to be much smoother and more linear. Maby its because I have the sport speedie with the 6T and it doesn’t handle the higher freq’s well
Current limiter profile: 4 (unlimited)
Rollouts I personally run:
at eastern creek: 22
at northside: 21.5
at mingara: 23.5
at castle hill: 20.8
this is just what i personally run. You will have to find what suits you best

cool it's good to know there are other hacker runners out there. i'm the guy with the glasses, Tomas B.
i'm runing the comp esc.
i was running the esc at stock settings. (whatever that is) if it can go quicker than what it went today.....!!!
i don't need the speed. it reaches top end very quickly and runs very cool. (estimated 35 degrees after going around moorebank). cooler than a pack of recently charged batts.
i'll hopefully be at northside racing at the V challenge (if other commitments don't get in the way)
