Hey Guys
I just got a call and the word is that you might be posponing the event.. please tell me this is not the case. It is costing me $700 dollars to fly over and this is non refundable.... I have to give at least 24 hours notice and this is tonight at 1200pm. this is a state title and it is important that someone makes a decision and the sooner the better.

I'd be happy just to make the A main in all the stock classes.
But look out for next years titles when the Traxxas Rustler will conquer all in Stock Truck

The event really does need Friday to practice, is there any chance of that if the weather is kind tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night?

Bad news
CANCELLED
Based on a shower that seemed to be centred over BDR late this afternoon, this weekends racing has been cancelled due to the track not being able to be safely marshalled. The track was inspected this morning before the latest shower and was still unsafe to walk on. The track would have still needed tomorrow and at least part of Friday to be able to be worked on. This was two days after the last heavy rainfall. Given that we are now in the same position as Monday and the track has the usual damage from heavy rain, it is predicted that racing would not be able to start until mid Sunday. The forecast is for showers over the weekend.
To be half fair for those travelling the event has been cancelled.
Please call me for further info. A new date will be announced once we co-ordinate with other AARCMCC EP offroad events.

Track has had over 200mm of rain on Sunday to Monday
We have been pumping non stop over the last couple of days
Today we had another storm at 4.30pm and it dropped another 10 or so mm to a already soaked area
We are still unable to get on surface to repair damages from weekend
Infields are still to soft to walk on and we see them being a problem for marshaling
The weather has not been on our side and the forecast is for more showers over weekend

Guys,
great leadership and direction, I really appreciated it as I have been able to change my flights and only occurred a small fee which I can live with... I the positive side you guys have needed the rain really bad and it will settle the track nicely.
I am over in Brisbane on a business trip from 04th July to the 21st so if it could be held over that time then it is classed as a business trip and I would be very happy......
