love the quality + style of the body, its very nice

i especially like the way i got several headlight/grill sets to choose from so i can customise it a little more.

i dunno how long the touring car style rear wing will last with my driving though, so i made a typical flat panel type ST wing for it and it looks uber cool now

my truck is gunna look all ling ling'ed up once i apply the final touches to it before this sunday (theres a pun in there for any fans of "drawn together" )
No Problems Glenn so when do we get to see the quality of the paint job?

it turned out pretty ordinary looking

i shouldnt have rushed it through, i kinda settled for a simple job just to get it ready for sunday and i think 2 weeks of ~40c weather affected my masking tape because it bled a little around the edge of the stripe, and i didnt do a big enough blend from orange into yellow.

anyone familiar with the cartoon "Drawn Together" should recognise ling-ling on the bonnet

Now that would be a laugh

yeah its still kickin on.
got a couple of parts from hobby habit today and ive had a new crowd pleaser body for a while, so some finishing touches which i need to "git-R-dun" before the big event.

will be racing on an old set of stock tyres though, but it aint the first time

Now that would be a laugh
it would be even funnier trying to see you marshal all 4 classes AND be racing at the same time
you'd need someone to marshal every race for you (poor bastard who gets that job) and you'd need another person to do a bit of tinkering in the pits..
you'll be busy busy busy!

edit: oh and a good set of Tx batt's to last being turned on all day hehe

PETER yes, most of us stay at the whyalla foreshore van park.
those of us who do stay there are considering using the supplied van park bbq's and having a big brekky' before we leave on sunday, it sure beats an overpriced bacon and egg-shell mcmuffin.
im thinking if i get enough interested peeps, we can chip in a cupla' bucks each and get some tomato, bacon, eggs, muffins/bread etc and have brekky at the van park together before we head for home.

offer is open to anyone including those not staying in the van park (you can come just for brekky)

also, we usually head off as a convoy early saturday AM.

contact me if your interested in either.

Tony and I will be leaving Morphett Vale at 6.30am. That should see us hit whyalla at around 11am, time enough to book in to the van park and get back to the track in time for the start of practice at mid-day.

OK a big thank you goes out to Boom Sherrin in Whyalla who have kindly donated the use of 4 light towers for the first interclub round as long as no one else needs the towers that weekend who is willing to pay money for them.

So if you need any heavy equipment for work look up Boom Sherrin

What do you mean by "so long as no one else needs the towers that weekend who is willing to pay money for them..."? Should we pack the Dolphin Torches just in case?
