The rest of the Ver III is the same apart from the head, button (turbo plug) and front bearing now being rubber sealed. Part number for the conrod changed, but it is same rod as earlier ones now with the e-clips included.

The weather is looking great for Friday Night Racing. SSF, GT and GT8.
I see Eddie has nominated for his first GT8 run. We need every GT8 out this Friday to give him some competition.
Likewise Gas Tourers as well.
We already have the usual suspects signed up for SSF, but more would be great.
Make it easier for Paul and nominate online now. Takes less than 20 seconds with an account.
See you all Friday Night.

Ok thanks for the feedback Jason and Andrew, look into it.
Have also been considering the option to run SSF on the friday nights. Need some advice on what to shop for to get started. Will need to keep it economical for now, basic setup, any brands to stay away from?
If anyone has a spare setup ready to go....let me know. Have the radio gear, servos already.
Cheers Joe P

Thanks Terry
Did plan on heading out to the track tonight, but something has come up so no show.
Terry, might be easier if you can PM me with what you have available if it suits you as well.

Hi gents,
Been having a problem of late on my MTX-6 where the front belt keeps ejecting. Initially I thought this might have been some worn pulleys so I replaced those, but no joy. Then I changed to a fresh belt and I've got the same problem. I even changed the grub screw position of the front sway bar to face outwards in case it was catching on screw thread recess but I still had the same problem.
One theory that might hold weight is I did go off the track at one stage last weekend and not long after that the front belt ejected and the car locked up, leaving me thinking that maybe a rock got in there. Upon putting the belt back on the pulley, I noticed there was now a kink in it and on the next run, it came off again. So either, the kinked belt does not sit right on the pulley or another rock got in there and ejected it again. My tension is set to maximum, that could also be an issue but I'm really out of ideas.
Has anyone had a similar experience with front belts on the MTX-6?
Cheers,
Mick

There will not be an EP meet on the 23/09/2017 as the QLD Titles are on that weekend at Bayside and many are attending.
There will not be the numbers to run a local meet anyway.
The race meet has already been setup online as per the Calendar, but I will cancel the online Nominations tomorrow when at the track.
Good luck to all the QRCCRA members racing the QLD Titles.
Cheers.
