Hi Astan

Thanks for the drive of your truggy ( bit loose )

I just noticed that on the i-lap web site that they have the transponders outside on the bonnet near the bottom of the front window ( i wonder if this is worth a try )

See ya

no worries mate for the ones that didn't work they'll have to try something
different. Most of them were working i think there was only 2 that were having trouble.

Gday Aston , how's things going , sounds like you have done a lot of work to the track Is the timing loop working yet ? the laps free software is very simple to use , we are using the manual counting system untill we get a decoder box but that could take some time as you know how much that costs We are all still keen to come down for another run but life for most of us at the moment is hectic With the Qld titles in June i need to run every track i can before then for the practice Our new track is a small technical track with only a few small jumps , it's fun to drive on but we would be happy with anything after losing our old track . We hope to have a new location by the end of the year the council has told us The location is awsome We would like to do night racing but that could take some time before that could happen
Hope to see you guys soon

Hey Aston , do you have to buy the transponder to race or do you have club one's or rent them out on the day ?

Gday mate, good to see u have got another track running.I'll have to head up there 1 day, when I get some time I have about 10 Transponders left that i will rent out. But u have to plug them into ur receiver. Plus u need a clear view through ur body , because it's an infared sensor not like amb,but 10 times cheaper and it works, just gotta work out the program Stands up and looks great from up there.Got room for the new pit lane too The track is 325mtrs long and the fastest time so far is 46secs About 4 to 5 laps in 5 min heats. If it gets rained out this weekend we'll run following
week. But i think the rains gonna stop on saturday

Are you using the laps free software ? It's easy to use , if you downloaded the instructions they are easy to follow As you already know you have to do a lot of dummy runs first to work out the race settings properly , but once you have got that sorted it runs itself fairly well I'll definately be there next month for a run leading up to the titles . A few are talking about having a run this weekend at your track but it is probaly just talk See you soon mate .

i have been told about this track by toykindom in lismore. i would
like to come out for a race. i have the program when the races are on. i was just wondering if it cost any thing to race at the track. what time do you start racing and finish and can you just turn up and race. can you race 1/8 truggys there.
thanks

Default Racing

Hi David
We are racing today and I think it cost $5-$10 to drive.

There is a timing system for racing and the transponders cost about $60 or you can hire one for the day.

Racing truggys and buggies at the the moment but other cars or trucks can come.

We will probably start some time after 9.30 as we have only just started the track and settling in with how everything works.

See you there
Nigel.
