SCG Test !!!

Wow, what a great finish to a controversial test match which had everything!
Will anyone walk if they nick it in the future ( apart from Gilly )?

Will the Indian team be able to compete in WA after such a great game where they came so close and yet still got beat?

Is Michael Clark The New Shane Warne after single handed decimating the Indian lower order!
He may well be just the bowling talent that the Aussies were looking for to bamboozle the opposition batting lineup!

Well thats the game of cricket, it could of went the way of the curries also, thats the human element of the game that should never be taken out, As Roy Boy (Monkey LOL)said, you get decision that go your way and the ones that don't and in the end it all evens out, the curries had every chance to draw the match by using there heads, but it's all history now "The one that got away", even Ponting deep down knew they shouldn't have won with a draw the best out come

All in all, Punter called it right and they stole a well played victory!

I appears the indians are pretty pissed off! They want to cancel the rest of the tour.
It really should of been a draw it think after all those bad descisions.
All the talk about the bastman walking if he knows hes out is crap though. If the umpire gives it out then your out, if the umpire doesnt raise the finger then you stay.
Having said that you should not claim a catch if it has gone to ground and the player taking the catch does know if it has been grounded it.Ive seen michael clarke do his a few times not really a big fan of him

Crusty,
After playing the game for many years you know if you take the catch or not.
I highly doubt the australian team are the type to cheat wickets if they've not rightfully taken them. I've seen and caught many catches like the one in question over the years, and sometimes it does look like it went to ground when in fact its sandwiched your fingers to the ground and you HAVE rightfully caught the ball... and i think this is the case with Clarke's catch, he would know if he caught it cuz it would bloody hurt! lol.
There were definately some decisions that should have been out and not, but thats hardly the fault of the teams in play, in the case of the indian caught behind that wasnt... well the Aussies would have heard a nick that looked close to the bat... so bloody oath they'd appeal... its up to the umpire to then decide what it hit.
Anyway, as was mentioned above you take the good with the bad, and for most cases i think the game should stay on the field. But never the less... what a fantastic game and an awesome finish, whilst it can be said that it was hard luck for the Indians, the Aussies certainly deserved the win.
Cheers,
Robbie
