Corally shocks
Hi guys
I used the Corally shocks at the Nationals and was the only other Corally car apart from Simon to make the top 10 ,I did have the option of using the TRF shocks ,but what I found when the grip is reasonable there is not much difference ,I was also using the black spring set ,But one thing is for sure I did rebuild them straight away out of the box , Another thing I noticed I seem to use a little more droop than usual with the shocks ,It did seem to settle the car bit ,I hope this helps a few of the guys tossing up whether or not to change to the TRF shocks. I also find no issues with Corally shocks... its all in the mind... ;)

Regards David A tip with the corally shocks a couple of guys have taken out one of the O-Rings (only use one O-Ring) replace the o-ring with a plastic bushing and this makes them smoother again. Another question for you. What tricks to try when the grip is really down as it was at Littlehampton (19deg) sunday and 27s warmers and treatments arent doing it. I softened the rear and hardened the front took the rear bar off. Do longer camberlinks increase grip if so what part of the corner(running 3.5 bl) ran 3mm droop both ends. Thanks again Mark Miller |

On a tight grippy track I would definitly use a one-way hands down, you only use a spool when traction is very very low or on a fast flowing track when braking is needed. Jamie |

Most guys in mod use a fair amount of autobrake up to70% in Darryl K's case
