Tower Hobbies

Any one else noticed how long delivery takes from Tower Hobbies the last few months,
Seems 3 weeks + is the norm.

It has to be one of the best online R C websites around, I will say that for them but 3 weeks + for a small package, something is not right.

took 5 days for a large parcel to get to me from them last month, the replacement part they sent for a broken part in the package took over a month. it depends on what customs are doing. i've also noticed some of the items i order get their tracking numbers scanned in & others don't. it's not predictable.

tower has been an issue in the past 2 months

anything coming from illinois seems to take 25 days whereas anything from their vegas deopt takes 5.

driving more than one of us nuts dont worry about that!

I've bought a lot of stuff off Amain, using their cheapest parcel delivery option (USPS Economy), longest period took 2 weeks shortest was 4 days.
Quicker than sending stuff from Adelaide to Brisbane/Syd via Oz Parcel Post...

i did but it was actually to thank them for the service as i have had 3 deliveries from them in the last 5 -6 weeks and every one was under 5 days. i pay for express postage of which i always get the tracking number. Once i did get something by normal post and yes it took 3 weeks but i don't think it is towers problem more the postal system. And i dont want to get into debate over local versus overseas but i actually by from Tower when i want something quick that is not available over the shelf from my LHS, not so much for price as when you add express postage costs it not a huge difference.

Yeah been ordering from tower for the past 5 years or so, always arrived within 10 days including an order a few months ago before USPS changed their postage getting rid of surface mail.. Maybe thats choked up the air mail a bit?
Received an order this monday which I ordered on the 11th of july so almost a month. Part of the order (a single RC10T2 bumper bar ) had to come from Reno, Nevada which came in under a week in a padded bag.

Bit of a shame since you used to be able to break something on race day and have a replacement part by the next race meeting.

How do you contact them other than ringing? Could find no email support on their site.
