Default Techwell .12 Nitro Engine

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody knows anything about these engines?

Are they good? Are they powerful? and will they last?

Thanks.

I found running massive mods fuel in my techwell .12 gave me a lot more life out of it. Great motor for the price. I also had a play with an old one that I had by doing some crank work and fitting a novarossi S3 piston and liner (fits straight in using the techwell con rod) and found it to be keeping with open motors worth 4 times the amount. My next step is to take the pull start off and see how quick it is as an open motor.

Hi i have a 5 port techwell i found it to be under powered on take off but fast top end even when i geared it for take off. I ran it on 25%, overheated it badly twice, only put after run oil in every now and then, didn't look after it very well its the oldest motor i own and it still has heaps of pintch and runs like the day i got it. Good motor for the money. Hope this helps....

Great motor for the price easy to tune , does anyone know an alternative pullstart which will fit?? They wont fit in the new vones 111 needs to be a thinner pullstart , we tried the kyosho one with no luck
