I think it is time for a drag meet within the nitro scene, in Perth..I am planning at the moment to have a small drag racing meet for 1:10/1:8 nitros at Ryper Hobbies after onroad racing on Sunday...I will be calling Ryper and asking.....this will just b a small meet.....if it isnt and it starts getting popular I will look at making it on the open Saturdays between offroad racing......soo yea

exactly what I though.

Im sure it wouldnt be too long before the council found out and then the hassles that would come with it using the road wouldnt be worth the hassle I would have thought.....

there are usually a fair few real cars that go driving through the area so eaither an rc will get crushed or an rc will damage a real car.

you'll need a fair bit of organising and you'll need permission from whoever to do this stuff.

it was my idea thus fore it is my decision...

1 CLASS......everything......

Unless there is a large variation in vehicles...lets say 5 buggies/truggies

and 2 MT...then there will be 2 classes.....but we will c on sunday

So this must be the stupidest idea i have ever heard!
People will be leaving from the track so unless you guys want your cars run over i suggest doing it at a different time.

are you insulting the hobby shop owners' judgement? he has said YES, he is not stupid and if it was a bad idea he would of said no.

so leave it to us drag racers to do what we want. so unless your going to participate, which you wont be since you dont own a nitro, you can go off and do your own thing
