Some recent photos of the track for ya - some more jumps to come soon. The new stand makes it much easier to see!

Hi Nath,

I havent run on the track since it was re-rolled, but before that it was med traction when damp, and high traction when dry and the dust blown off. The tyre wear with Holeshots was a bit high when the track was very dry (same as most surfaces), but X-2000s have good life.

We have a busy bee this Saturday and a clubbie on Sunday, ill post some more pics when we have finished adding the new jumps etc etc.

Looks good, and looks lengthy! What average lap times are being run around the track?

Matt.

Matt

I can only speak for 2WD 540 , but at the clubbie on Sunday we were lapping in the 32's.........the new jumps (a single followed by a double) really slowed us up.........and the track didn't blow the surface off and harden up on Sunday , it stayed loose and traction was down later on......but there was a real tacky surface for the beginning of the day.

Cheers

Shane

Hodder,

I know who can stop Trod!!!! Seems his XXXCR was set up with stagger at the '06 Vic's.........Maybe the Phantom will re-appear this year!!!!
Hope you can find the extra 0.7 this year Trod!

Cantona,

Jumps are being revised after lengthy Senate appraisal on Sunday.

Nath,

I'm not at liberty to divulge the alleged offender......Let's just say he resides in W.A. And yes, it was 0.7 per lap!

Maybe we could put the fuhrer in the same race and he could do a repeat of the nationals and clean him up from behind at the starting line.

A 3 wheeled xxx-cr should about 0.7 sec a lap slower.

Sorry neil it was highlight of the meet. Your facial expressions were priceless.

is the track going to have pipe laid down to control the corner cutting???? Not to mention that it would make the track look so much better...
