Bayside Team
In an effort to ensure we have good representation across all classes, I am getting together a team sheet of our drivers.
The team so far is:
19 Turn
Jason Wakefield
Nigel Brokenshire
540 Elec.
Kirk Peacock
Jason Koerper
Andrew Gibson
Gas Tourer
Jason Dorn
Dave Guyatt
Neale Stoneley
Tony Berands
John Gibson
Rowan Kelly
Stock
Dave Guyatt
Andrew Gibson
Modified
Kirk Peacock
Shane Pearce
Nigel Brokenshire
Pro Tourer
Jason Dorn
Gavin Lambe
Peter Dennis
Tim Berands
Quite a few drivers are still to confirm which class they will do but as you can see we are a little light on Electric drivers at this point. So if you intend to drive for Bayside in the Interclub this year let me know by email [email protected] so I can add you to the team list.

Yes we started handing them out last week at our normal club meet. But then realised we had last years rules in the form, so Doug is editing it before I post it. It will be on our website by Thur. and I will post it here on RC Tech and Doug will email it to all other clubs.

John you have been testing these at your club now you ask us if we have approved them, isn't that weird?

Yes I used one last Friday nights club race and I don't find that weird, Other testing was done by somebody else and submitted to the Interclub committee, I am simply asking if it was approved for use in the 19turn class or not.
If it's approved great I'll use it if not I'll use what's allowed.

When I was on the Interclub committee I took the responsibility for arrangeing the testing of the 4300 for suitability to be included in 19t.
I purchased a motor and had both Anthony and Scott do some test.
At the end of the tests Anthony's summation was "I would have no problem racing against a 4300 with standard rotor with a 19t brushed" - from my observations of the races where it was used by Anthony, Scott and others, I agreed.
On that basis I recommended to the Interclub committee that the motor be included in the 19t class.
I expect that the committee will make a formal statement in due course.

As far as I know the one Heavy lent to Anthony and Scott and the one I have are the only 2 that have run at Brendale.
I have only raced mine in 3x5 minute heats and found it to be quicker than some brushed 19's and slower that others on power down the 2 straights.
Due to a little more low end punch it was great through the first 3 fast corners, next to no brakes makes it bad at the hairpin and good again through the centre bit.
I found the same with the 13.5 stock brushless some brushed stocks are quicker and some are not.
Can't say what the 4300 would be like at other tracks until there tested, being that it's not a common class it may be unlikely to happen unless the Interclub committee allows it to happen at the Interclubs.

Entry Form
Thanks 2-Bad and Heavy
I attached the wrong version of the file. We have removed the technical Spec. page for now as we are not sure what the rules are.
Will post this once agreed on.
Cheers

It would be good if the entry from included the current spec for all classes.
Or at least where people can read them.
ie Gas tourer is 1800g total weight dry.
The current gas tourer engine rules
ON ANOTHER NOTE THE 4300 Novac HAS BEEN TESTED AND APPROVED BY ALL CLUBS FOR THE INTERCLUB FOR USE IN THE 19 TURN CLASS.
The inclusion of 13.5 Novac for stock class.
Just a few to mention.
