Confirms what many already suspected. The real question is will they be marked? Ie, can we start buying stocks now or do we have to wait for a special batch?
Also, I assume inserts will be open?

So can we start buying or is the maitland club suppling the tyre.
Are the insert open or do we the inserts that come with
these tyres.
Can drivers use the r3 compound as well as m3.

I think Quote "controlled tyres to be used for 2wd & 4wd buggy qualifying and finals will be supplied by the organising club at the prices specified on the tyre order form. Each tyre will be specially marked for easy identification. The nominated control tyre is Proline Holeshots, M3 compound." Unquote is pretty clear, compound is M3, no mention of control insert.
Can we assume insert is open?
sounds like we all have to buy our qualifying and finals tyres from the clubs supply of specially marked tyres? No BYO? No mention of limiting available number of sets of tyres per competitor?

Brad, im sure that means you can run your own tires for practice, but for qualifying and finals you need to buy marked tires from the club, otherwise your car wont pass scrutineering. As for inserts, I assume its open. No tire limits, unless the club runs out
