Just a reminder about the working bee, no need for mowers but if you could bring whippersnippers, shovels and any other track maintenance equipment you may have it would be greatly appreciated.
Practice session after the work is completed.
And remember, anyone that attends and helps, races next Saturday for free!
See you around 3pm tomorrow guys.

Hey guys/Girls i am thinking about changing from on-road to 2wd off road.

is it cheaper to run a 2wd off road car vs a 1\10 on road? meaning buying carbon firbe chassis and all the other stuff for on-road, where as i can see and i maybe wrong but 2wd off road you don't need all that stuff

Apart from the initial purchase of chassis, rims, tyres etc. There really isn't much in the way of consumables.
Only the parts you break and if you run modified, then maybe diff rebuilds now and then.
Lucky for us our track is very tyre friendly so one set can last for months.

Default Working bee

Well I didn't make the working bee, but I was a busy bee on Friday.
Council was in the park on Friday and I had them slash & snip the yard before I went over it on a lower level with the ride-on mower.
+++
Big shout out to the council

As to lights, maybe it was 3 sets?...I have for sale, 1 flouro tube assembly complete with 240v standrd power point plug...Or will trade them for 2 large floodlights (Keith may be interested)

Motor is limited to 17.5 and your ESC must NOT have any type of advance timing / throttle profiles.

This year we will be scrutineering all stock drivers for the first few weeks and then randomly after that.

Batteries must be 2S and hardcased.

Roar approval is only strictly enforced at title events, if you plan to attend any of them, problably a good idea to buy approved equipment straight away.

ROY!! - You're a champion mate... and you're on the free racer list for next weekend.

Keith.
The Tekin speedy is ok for stock as long as the 2 center light flash, that shows you are in no timing mode, for major events you would need your laptop in case you are asked to show the program.

Gary

Default supercharger

anyone know how to remove timing & s/charger settings on v2.1 hobbywing?
Or should I put in a std speedy and run with a 60c, 70c or 90c 2s lipo, as I've been told I would get the same speed & punch? Is this true? Have I been away that long? Do I remember how to drive an RC car? Did I ever know how?
Looking forward to getting there on Saturday arvo.

Update your card from the website and change your software to 508 (no timing) then update your ESC with the card.

I'll have my card on Saturday if you get stuck.

And you won't ever get a 60c battery up to running temp in stock to feel the full effects.
