Hi there Guys
I thought I would start a thread on pic's and info on the tracks in south east queensland. Any input or extra info would be great. Please add pics of layout and a starting rollout.

Gold Coast Track Queensland
The Gold coast Track
Location
Gold Coast City Council Have developed a permanent track at Gilston which will include both an Off-Road and On-Road tracks that will cater up to 1/5th scale cars. This track is located at Frank Chaston Oval, opposite the Gilston primary school located on Worongary Road, Gilston.
The Off Road track will be up and running eary january 2007.
DIRECTIONS:
If you are heading North or South on the M1 take exit 77
Then turn West (inland) i.e. left for the guys heading North & Right for the guys heading South
At the "T" intersection turn left on to Mudgeeraba Rd, follow this road for ~2km
Turn right on to Worongary Rd at the Mudgeeraba show grounds
Follow this road for 6km, at this point you will find a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights
Turn left into the car park and park your car (the track area is above you)
If the boom gate is open you can drive through to the track area.
This is a great track Fast and technical at the same time.
Toilets, electricity, Water on track. Drinks sold on track and shop 5 minutes away.
There is no shelter as yet, so bring your tent's with you.
Planed for 2007 new drivers stand and covered pit area.
Racing offroad, nitro/petrol and electric on different sundays so please check with the website detail's.

Tarmac surface with good grip, very smooth.
For electric recommended starting Rollout
540 48/51
Stock 30/33
Modified 23/26
Sorex 36 with medium inserts seem to be the choice.
All new racers welcome as we have a beginners class, Members of other tracks are very welcome as well.

This is a great club, One of the friendliest bunch of guy's around.
We race every 2nd Saturday Night from 5:30 pm till late under light's. We have classes for each type of car there is, So come down and race with us.
Classes Run
Covered Pit area and electricity on track.
Easy parking. Toilets close by, and a shop is just a couple of minuts away.
Tight and Technical track with good grip.
There are 5 classes which are run at the track. However even if your RC model does not fit any of the below we will fit you in somewhere!
Open Nitro - Any nitro chassis with any .12 sized engine. No pullstarters are allowed. Any tires may be used. Only sedan bodies.
Pullstart Nitro - Any nitro chassis with any .12 sized engine. A pullstarter must be equiped to the engine. Any tires may be used. Only sedan bodies.
Pro Touring - Any electric powered chassis with a 27T rebuildable stock motor as the maximum. Battery choice is free. Tire choice is free. Sedan bodies only.
Mod Touring - Any electric powered chassis with up to a 12T rebuildable motor as the maximum. Battery choice is free. Tire choice is free. Sedan bodies only.
"Tamiya" Class - Any electric powered chassis with a Johnson 540 rebuildable stock motor as the maximum. Battery is limited to 2000 mah cells. Tire choice is free. Sedan bodies only.

Umm yeah hasnt been involved nor raced a rc car for well over a year.We still get phone calls at work asking about the track.

More than likely wont be there on Tuesday. Dad and I are going up tomorrow during the day. Johnny, is there anywhere safe to store those pvc sheets at the track? If not I will have to bring them on Sat night.
