ok easy way is even if it's csk or button
most screws in rc cars are M3 metric so get a 3.5mm drill and drill into the hex slowly and aplly some force against the screw so when the hole drilling gets to the shank the head will pop off and allow the piece to come apart the you will have a small bit poking out gets some pliers onto that and unscrew it

Take an allen key (the right size to suit the hex) and place a drop of superglue on the end and put this into the hex screw. Wait for the glue to cure and unscrew. To get the allen key out, heat it over a cooking element on the stove or use a soldering iron.

Man i hate striped screw heads
- i had 2 counter sunk screws in my Losi truck in the rear bulk head. I drilled into the screw until the head of the screw broke off, then pulled the part away and in theory should have had a little left to take off with pliers but didn't work - good thing was i only had to replace an allow pivot mount which was only a few bucks
If you can get at it with a dremmel tool then like other posts in here it's a good option
Good luck mate !!!

Important, as some have mentioned:
Counter sunk screws = use a dremmel to create a slot for a regular screwdriver only, do not drill out, as there is not enough shank left to grab with pliers (i made this mistake after reading a few threads) and was left with an retrievable shank.
Button head/cap head screws = drill off head or dremmel
