I Robot swear to follow the party line and stand by our Great Leader "BIG REG", I still remember them golden days we had with front benchers, back benchers, park benchers and even work benchers , does this mean i have to hand back my hot dog loyalty card, i was up to number seven ,
BIG REG you forgot to mention Itchy B on the front bench
sdt1 maybe we should race hot dogs, now that would be different,Little boys, weiners and footlongs

i suggest leaving this thread alone... if there is something inappropriate posted about 'you' or somthing that particularly brings r/c into disrepute report it to a moderator and it will be dealt with

as for language - its against the forum rules to use profanities please refrain from doing so

as long as you go around and clean up some of the other threads and just not be heavy handed with this one, what happened to free speach and expression, if we think someone or something is being a tosser, we should be able to say so (person, club, LHS and O/S, people who rip others off in transactions buying or selling and even above the law moderators, to name but a few). Seems to me that anything that has BIG REG in it will be supressed and frowned upon

i should ignor this

but... there is no freedom of speach or expression guaranteed by australian law, never has been and never will be (thats a good topic for debate)

... i have little problem with people being critical or making sound arguement or stating their opinion, (i created a thread for reporting bad trades as an example) but fail to see how name calling, personal attacks or profanities play a part in that process

people say dumb things all the time you choose how you respond, dont let others control your responses or they will 'own you'

the biggest problem with what could be potentially light hearted humor between friends is that if its not managed by the group involved it too easily get out of hand... i think thats what big reg is attempting to do with his new thread

people have to be aware that this is a public forum and austrralian r/c is on display it would be a sad day if people chose to do something else because of the behaviour exhibited by r/c tech users (a minority group of the r/c greater community)

i would hope that the majority of the r/c community and r/c tech users feel the same way

Reg, im familiar with your pro-biff stance and have been a keen supporter of your leadership ambitions at the grass roots level. But we're all interested to know the man behind the biff. Let's hear about the real reg.

What kind of RC does big reg involve himself in? Offroad? Onroad? Electric? Nitro?

Contact - perhaps one of big reg's causes could be the implementation of an australian bill of rights... but with a less american name...

The biff on rights

well we do have 'bills' (so its not just american) but im unsure if we need our rights put in to legislation, with definition comes restriction... id almost rather line the pockets of lawyers and 'biff on' in court to establish what rights we have and dont have on an adhoc basis.... its worked ok for some time now why change?

I think it is funny how some of these so called learned people are quoting American laws & legislation. Too much American TV.

Agreed. I guess it depends on how seriously one wishes to take a post in a thread like this
