Default adding pictures

I cant seem to add pictures to my post, what is the trick.

when i try to download a simple picture keeps saying file to large, How do i make it smaller.
I have so much to sell but i need pictures as there's to much to list.

I have had this problem in the past.

You need to reduce your pics to approx 80k (640X400)

Ive been trying to post pics since 5 this morning, when i send the pics to myself they are to big and take ages, i need to reduce them, but how.

Thanks to anyone who can help, man do i need a beer before i smash this computer.

reduce your megapixils go to vga on the camera

cheers, i have reduced the pixel to only 1.1 but change to vga? I'll have to find the manuel. Thanks

If you have windows XP, I use this Microsoft program (yes I know its Microsoft, don't hate me) to resize images. Once installed all you do is right click on the image and click 'Resize Pictures' then choose the size (for Rctech I usually use 640 x 400.

That could be worth a try Hopeless - easy to use and seems to work

On teh other hand it could be a sign that you are meant to keep your stuff - give up this foolish idea of quitting and come back to racing.

Thanks to all for the help, i now can reduce my pictures, but to place the picture into a post i go to manage attachments and have the files loaded in the section Attach files, but how do you place them into a thread.
(call me dum i deserve it.)

You should just click "Submit Reply" and they should come up as thumbnails like in heavy's post above.
