i think we should strap a big brushless motor into a car and test, would be great to see differences between that and nitro

We are working on a price at the moment thats fair for the work required. Looking at around the $50 mark at the monent

Just at a guess an electric would give a different torque curve to a nitro and the power peak would be sooner . But yean its going to be exciting , ive always wanted a Dyno ! Hi tec racing man eh.. looking forward to it and yes all are welcom to bring cars.

1/5 th scale ..hmmm ill get onto it .. Whats the typical width of one of these things ?

I can see the berks point, but if you dont want to shell out the $$$ then dont.

Most blokes will still test on the track.

I can see dynos good for the old...my engine hauls better than yours sledge.

I see it more useful to engine modders, like Mark, to see what works best.

My engine modder has never needed one, and his engines are quicker than most.

Im getting one because people want to Dyno their engines and have been bugging me for ages so as a servise im offering it.

$50 is an estimate as i stated, Brekky If you bring your Student id id be happy to give you a discount, might stop you crying and complaining about everything . lol

It all depends how long a test takes and what sort of tests people want. Some Dyno tests take an hour to do properly when people want to try different pipes etc. So i think $50 is a fair price.
